Forestry For All is envisioned as a movement in participatory development of socio-ecological knowledge & forestry. Its aims are fulfilled via its non-profit (Foundation) and business (Services) entities, through a variety of activities such as community-oriented research, education, ecological landscaping (private land & commons), ecological investment advisory etc.
Services: The business entity undertakes ecological landscaping projects including design, execution, consultation and support, survey and audit work including biodiversity surveys, ecological impact assessments etc. and consultancy on topics related to sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and individual social responsibility (ISR).
Foundation: ForestryForAll Foundation is a non-profit (Section 8) company registered in 2022, focused on community-based research, education & capacity building. Its activities are based on the action research approach. Some of the main programs include the development of ethnoforestry and community forestry on private (sponsor) and common lands, conducting ethno-botanical tours & awareness activities, and partnering with academia to provide field exposure to students of biological and environmental sciences.
