Sheshadri Ramaswamy

Sheshadri is the founder of Forestry-for-All Foundation and one of its directors. Operationally, he is responsible for all the organisation’s projects and capacity development.

His expertise in biodiversity, forest ecology, forestry techniques and ethnobotanical practices is backed by several decades field experience. He has an intimate knowledge of the peoples and plants of South India, particularly the state of Karnataka, and is the editor of an important book on the forest trees of South India.

He is also a ‘wild landscaping’ consultant and has executed projects of varied complexity and scale.
